That's right fellow Texans--snow and mountains! See it and weep!!! Conor and I traveled to Utah for the holidays and had a couple photo shoots. These family photos were taken by the Great Salt Lake at one of my favorite locations. We were all grateful the sun was out, but it was late December and rather cold. I had to time the photos in between their breathing since it showed up in the photos. Yes, we miss the mountains and the snow! But I am enjoying the spring-like weather we've been having in Houston. Thanks for enduring the cold and being such good sports for the photographs!

Hotel Derek C+A
I've been waiting forever to post these pics! Charlotte & Tony wanted some formal shots taken before their wedding day, so we added another session for them. She had two dresses and wore the shorter dress for the hotel shots to go with the look we wanted to achieve. Plus she has fantastic legs, so why not show them off?! : ) Hotel Derek was a perfect setup for their photo shoot and we had a great time shooting there. Especially the shots on the bar--those are some of my favorite!

Crystal & Jarrad the Wedding Day!!!
Strong winds and rain moved the outdoor sunset wedding planned in Galveston, indoor the San Luis Hotel late November. But nothing dampened the spirit and excitement on Crystal & Jarrad's wedding day. Crystal donned her hot pink fingernails and toes and she and her bridesmaids walked barefoot down the aisle. Jarrad and the groomsmen sported khakis and flip flops and kept true to the beach theme. My favorite part was Crystal & Jarrad dancing down the aisle after they were pronounced husband and wife--loved it! They danced all evening, and it was a fun, laid back event where we were able to take fantastic candid photos. Such a photogenic couple!

Charlotte's Bridals in San Antonio
Charlotte is such a natural when it comes to having her portrait taken--poised, confident, beautiful, relaxed. Being the only girl with three brothers, Charlotte's mom had always thought it would be dreamy for her daughter's bridals to be taken in San Antonio at the Missions. I couldn't agree more and fell in love with the "other" missions when we visited last August. It was a beautiful Autumn day; we visited two of the missions and had a fabulous day shooting. We had hundreds of shots and it made it difficult to come up with my favorites to post. We also took this opportunity to get shots of the rings. Enjoy the flavor of old Texas and the missions with a gorgeous bride!
