Q: What do you get when you combine Spring Break + Kemah Boardwalk? A: Thousands of people!
Ashley and Joshua were home from college for their Spring Break, which coincidentally happens to be the same time as most of the school districts around Houston as well, so it worked out well for their engagement photo session. Plus, the weather was absolutely beautiful! We had fun rubbing elbows with everyone there and patiently waiting for the "right" moment for people to pass. Of course, there were some individuals that magically appeared in every single frame, hoping for their moment of glory in a stranger's photo session. At least they were kind enough to sport the brightest clothing they could find! And of course, we were in for some good old fashioned people watching. Between that and the smell of funnel cakes, what more could you ask for?!
The only thing missing from this evening were V.I.P. passes for each of us to advance to the front of the lines for rides, more room to ride the bicycle on the boardwalk, a prize for knocking down the clown, and a picture with the guy that set up his glow stick stand. ; )

Natalie's Bridals
Natalie & Matt were married January 9th--such a cute couple! With her wedding dress alterations not being completed until 2 days before the wedding, we had to postpone the bridal session until after the big day. We selected Hotel Icon in downtown Houston for the photo shoot and it fit perfectly! Matt came in his tux so we could take more formal shots of the two of them. It was a pleasure working with both of you again--congrats on surviving your first few months of marriage!!! ; )

Melissa + Justin
What a treat! Last week we were able to spend the evening with Melissa and Justin for their engagement photos. If you need a dose of laughter, then this is your couple! You can't help but smile when you see these photos--how much they love life and each other. Maybe they were laughing at me . . . either way there are some fantastic shots! Even though it's March, the weather was a bit chilly once the sun dropped. The wind huffed and puffed and had a heyday with Melissa's bangs. (Guys DO NOT realize what we go through!) I think the cool evening was a great way to keep them close and hanging on to one another. Justin didn't stray too far all night! : )
