When It Rains, It Pours!!!

I flew to Utah for Brenna & Otto's wedding in June, excited to escape the heat and humidity of Houston. Friday evening was perfect! But, I was informed the 1st time in 3 solid weeks it had not rained. Perfect timing! Saturday had forecasted rain showers, but held off all day--up until 30 minutes before the shoot. Lovely. . . perfect timing! Luckily I had come prepared, borrowing a hat, sweater, coat, and 72" umbrella. I neglected to factor in the extreme wind and drastic drop in temperature. I wound up soaked to the bone and freezing cold for hours. My flip flops braved the weather, with rivers rushing down the street and sidewalks. Brenna and Otto were troopers!
